About us

River City Community Church is a new church plant located in Chippewa Falls, WI and the greater Chippewa Valley. River City began in the summer of 2018 in a living room with just a few families and the support of the Northwoods Network of churches throughout Northern Wisconsin. Since then, we’ve been gathering each Sunday and throughout the week seeking to follow Jesus together and to embody the mission and passion of the community.
Our worship services begin with families worshipping together. The children are invited to attend River City Kids immediately following the music. Nursery for birth-3 is also available. On the second Sunday of the month we host a brunch as a way for the church to enjoy a meal together, learn more about each other, and build relationships. Our heart is to be a community where we recognize that everyone is unique, loved by God, and worthy of a seat at the table.
We meet at 1200 West River Street in Chippewa Falls. We would LOVE to have you come and visit so we can introduce ourselves and welcome you to our community. We look forward to meeting you.​

Along with an incredible group of individuals and families, Chris & Jaci Uttecht launched River City Community Church in 2018 as part of a leadership team. The leadership team serves, coordinates, and leads the various aspects of ministry. Chris Uttecht serves at Senior Pastor and partners with the Finance Council in the general oversight of the church.
